Back-Log
Wow! It's been so long since I posted anything, I almost don't even remember how to do it! (ok, so I'm exaggerating just a little). I really have been working on posts, but I haven't had enough time all at once to actually get anything published. Potty training is exhausting at times, but it can be rewarding too. Anyway, I'm hoping to start rolling off the posts soon, but until then, I thought I'd touch base and reassure everyone (that is if I have any readers left) that I am still here and haven't given up on my blogging adventure yet.
I guess while I'm actually writing, I should do a mini, quick update on my life. Sir got a job in WR about 15-20 min from home. That means he's gone ALL DAY LONG (I guess 8-6 isn't exactly all day, but sometimes it seems like it). He's always worked from home since we've been married, so it's a big change for me. Dolly is actually getting the idea when it comes to potty training. PC is already FOUR months old! (sniff sniff) They grow up so fast. And there's lots more, but I really do want my posts to have something in them that won't be 'old news'.
So, I guess that's all for now... except maybe a blurp on the picture for this post: It was taken at the end of September, 2002. Sir had planned a trip to Vancouver Island during the last time I visited him before we were engaged (exactly 6 weeks later). It was my first time to the island, first time I'd ever been on a ferry that I know of, and it was a beautiful sunset. Pictures never really do sunsets (or sunrises for that matter) any justice.
Maybe you can call him on his lunch break. I used to help your Uncle Da eat his lunch every day via telephone. He was gone from 630a to 530p everyday so I know how you feel. Now he's home all the time, but the kids have flown the coop.
ReplyDeleteEvery day we have choices to make. Sometimes the adjustments are hard. But, you can relax somewhat and get on with the potty training. BTW do you have a new address for your sister who just moved east?
