Home Sweet Home

And we're home again - as of 11:15 this morning! There's a pot of spices boiling in the kitchen, some Big Band Swing playing on the CD player, and a full van to unload. For now though, we're just enjoying the feeling of being home after 10 full, fun-filled days on the road all the way to Southern California and back!

Music to relax to.

Dressing up with all the hats in the Monkey Corner.

All the cars we couldn't take with us. They were missed!

Steaming spices - they make the house smell sooo good!

Hanging out with Daddy and the Thumb.

And now it's time for me to make some lunch. Then some little people will get to sleep in their own beds at last and the big people will get to unload the van, and shovel some more snow. ...And think about unpacking everything eventually.

  5. Glad you made it there and back safely, and had a good time! Nothing like home, is there? Being away is good, but I still think coming home is better.

  6. Glad you are home safely. Sorry you and your family couldn't stay with us, but I'm sure the Crackers enjoyed your visit, they said so. It seems that once a year is just not enough time to visit with our loved ones. Thanks for all the pix. I must scour the garage for our stash of frames so those rascals can smile down at me from their wall perch. KJA is thankful for the chocolates.
